Gas Tank Bags
Most Harley Riders, Road Star and other cycles/trikes can use and enjoy a gas tank bag. Unfortunately for the Honda Goldwings, they just don't work out very well. The location of the filler lid for gas and the the audio controls get in the way. In spite of that, I'll list some great products you might consider no matter what you ride.

Tank Bags for Honda GL1800
With the design of the audio system and fuel access door, adding a tank bag that requires less straps than tying down the Goodyear Blimp was difficult to do. But we did it...and without straps. Our design uses 2B finish, laser cut stainless steel plates; one on the bag and the other on the bike. An aircraft grade quick release pin secures the two plates and allows the bag to swivel up giving full access to your radio and fuel door (only when stopped, please). This design also allows you to remove the bag in seconds for security leaving a small plate with the swivel holes on the bike.
Our bag never touches your radio so surprise audio changes are a thing of the past. The design at the top keeps a fixed space off the bike. The bag makes contact with and rests on the fuel door. Scratches? No! We include a clear, computer cut paint protection panel for the door.
