Computer Software and Utilites Page
No website would be complete without someones take on what to do to fix your computer when things go awry. While I cannot guarantee what I provide here will resolve all of your issues, they will certainly help, and they are FREE. Links will be posted on the right and in this center column for antivirus, malware, spyware and other utilities to make your life better.
I will notate what I've used or am using presently. While not a guru, I do have over 20+ years of Information Technology background. That means I worked with Microsoft Desktop & Servers, Novell and was Cisco Data and Voice certified. I guess that means I was a computer geek, but at 59 years old now, it is difficult to find a job in IT. Like many others my job was outsourced five years ago in this arena, but I hope some of my knowledge can be passed onto those who need it. I make no commission on these offers, as it's pretty tough to pay someone a fee, when the utilty is free in the first place. If you buy the paid version enjoy the protection. Most are Windows 7 , Windows Vista , Windows XP and Windows 2000 Compliant.
As we all need our computers to search, print, research and more - I thought this would be a useful addition. Let me know if you agree, I'd appreciate it.

Rootkit Programs:
A rootkit is a set of utilities which can run hidden on a computer system, often with the intention of providing secret access to (and control over) the computer's operating system. Usually hackers, viruses, worms and other malicious entities use rootkits to hide their presence on infected systems. They can be in scripts, images and more locations.
