Welcome to The Trike Corral
The Trike Corral is dedicated to all forms of Motorcylce Trikes, avid Trikers or preferably Triking. Owners, as well as "wannabe's". Much of the information presented here will be in support of the various Manufacturers of Trikes and their dealer networks. This information hopefully will help you pick from what brand of trike kit to purchase and a respectable dealer. Links are provided when available to these manufacturers and their dealers for more information.
You will notice I do not use irritating "Google Ads" or landing pages for Pay Per Click advertising. I hate it, I won't spent alot of time on those sites that do, and I wanted to build a website (yes, I built it) with full menus accessible all the time and pertinent data and no garbage.
How do I make money on this site? I don't. It's a fun persuit for me. Maybe I'll sell some T-shirts one day, when I get the logo design correct. All advertising, logos, links to dealers and their products are free except for the center front page. No spamming allowed here.
Some of the these trikes have the traditional two wheels in the back via kits and others recently will have two steering wheels (reverse trikes) in the front. The choice is merely of a personal nature. Today's trikes are more diverse and sport more features than ever before. Explore, highlight, and talk about trikes of all kinds including the new breeds such as Hybrid Trikes, Can-Am Spyder, Stallion Trike, Tri Rod, T-Rex, V-8 Powered, Classic Volkswagen Chopper Trikes and all motor powered three-wheeled vehicles!
Please use the links to your left to locate all known Trike dealers by manufacturers for the state you select. Other information is available on each page pertaining to dealers, as well as makers of fine leather goods and other state made accessories. National vendors will also have links to them. As it is almost impossible to find, locate and link to every source. I ask your help to provide such vendors who make fine products and are good vendors to furnish to all readers on this website.
When trikes were first introduced, most were homemade and powered by the traditional VW engine. This was the first generation of trikes.
A very large industry has developed to support todays motorcycles and trikes industry. From an huge selection of options of Trikes, which includs all sorts of replacement parts and designer apparel. Most common improvements tend to be custom seats, fancier tires and wheels, or brake disks and branded or leather clothing and electronics gadgets. The OEM branded parts and clothing and accessories as well as the aftermarket industry has exploded. There is little you can't change or add to your motorcycle or trike.
Trike popularity and sales have flourished time and again since the first motorcycle was created in the late 1800's. With the beginning of the fuel crisis of 2006 Motorcycles and Trikes gained another boost of interest because of the excellent miles per gallon factor. Small trikes can get as much 50 mpg and even the larger trikes average 32 to 40 miles per gallon. These values are based on drivers habits, speeds driven and other aspects.
Economy as well as cost of operation has driven the two and three wheel industry as it does everything else, but ingenuity and custom built trikes have kept the industry growing. As many motorcycle riders age, the factors of medical problems and balance push the trike industry onward.
Many individuals have created a single product for their own personal riding needs which in turn lead to the cottage industry called "aftermarket". Aftermarket products are offered to replace OEM (original Brand equipment manufacturers) parts as well as Aftermarket which are unique creative products or improvement products that OEM just didn't think about or did not support.
