Motorcycle and Trike LED State Laws
Motorcycle lighting laws significantly vary from State to State and are always subject to change. This page is designed to help our viewrs know and abide by the laws of their home States and the States they visit.
Many States have laws limiting the use of red and blue lights, blinking and flashing lights, and lights that strobe. Other States appear to remain silent on the subject of colored motorcycle accent lighting.
We are, where possible, providing links to State traffic regulations and laws. Interpretation and verification for currency, accuracy and completeness of this data lies with the motorcycle operator. This page is guidance only and it remains the responsibility of the motorcycle owner/operator to know and obey the law. If you have any information regarding State laws on motorcycle accent lighting, I would appreciate hearing from you.
